SMS Opt-In

Participants opt in to receive SMS text messages from SHOTS Harm Reduction when they:

• Text our published SHOTS phone number

• Verbally request SMS communication during outreach or community events and provide their phone number

• Otherwise explicitly consent to SMS communication

 

Message Types

Messages may relate to:

• Services and supplies

• Referrals and outreach follow-up

• Care coordination

• We do not send SMS messages unless consent is obtained through one of the methods above.

 

Opt-Out

Participants may opt out at any time by replying STOP.
